I finally got to see 'An Inconvenient Truth'. In my environmental class tutorials, we debate this issue, and protocals like Kyoto. I took this course as an elective bird course...and it is becoming a personal issue to me. I was phone interviewed for 20 min. last night on energy consumption, which I don't know if my opinions will reach where it matters. But I saw myself making a conscious effort, instead of feeding a lame excuse and hanging up. Plus, I have taken to washes dishes/doing laundry only at night. Ontario has got to stop burning coal...in my opinion.
oh yeah, I'm also disappointed at Harper for hoping to only 'stabilize gas emissions'. What does that even mean? Stabilize at a steady increase? Stabilize to a constant output? It's so vague and arbitrary...how can we trust that?
