Praise God for His hand of protection over my mom. She's recovering from surgery and will be fine in due time. Had us in for a scare at first...

Feeling a bit down that I can't even go home to visit for a day. These next 2 weeks of school will prove to be quite stressful, as deadlines, papers, presentations, exam, and piloting a study will all come crashing in together. I know I will complete all the tasks at hand...but I need strength from above to bear the right attitude and being grateful in all things. Hong Kong and Bali will have to wait. :)

It's been awesome to see prayers answered when the Lord gives you something you haven't seeked after, due to perhaps laziness and denial.
