It's been a fun week of work, of play, fine dining etc. Summer is definitely picking up, with so many things happening in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm not using an organizer to keep track of events....so it's all seems like a last-minute surprise to me. hehhe..which is cool too.

Went to my first summerlicious experience on Friday. Mmm...Pangaea Restaurant on Bay Street. Food was so yummy and flavourful....*drool* Had the creamy, carrot soup, venison medallion as the main course...and 'pot au chocolat' (hehhe..naturally)...oh man...my taste-buds went to heaven! It was a chocolate mousse served with a scrumptious chocolate biscotti and accompanied with fresh raspberries. Nobody spoke for the longest time, as we savoured this delectable dish...mmm. 100% tummy satisfaction. Now looking forward to Courtyard Cafe next week! Though these meals are really hurting my wallet, it's worth it to go once a year. ;o)

For those of you that may not know, I've finally been hired by this business admin agency in North York. So now I'm a hired temp, and I get an assignment every so often (so far it's been every week), and do clerical admin stuff for offices in North York and Markham area. Daily tasks can be tedious and mindless at times-like shredding documents for 4 hrs straight one day. So I just play games in my head. I win pretty often too! hahahha...I'm still at Commerce Gate for this week. Working at a pension plan company for union workers...Which is nice and close to home, and I am a short walk away from bubble tea everyday! Yes, I'm all about the food....hhehe...oh, there's this really good Japanese shabu shabu place at Commerce Gate if anyone wants to try something new. I forget what it's called. ;o)

Still trying to keep my jogging and swimming routine up...it's hard to be consistent I must say....I should really run with someone driving alongside and dangling a fudgsicle in front of me...speaking of which...I haven't had one in almost 2 hours...hehehehhe...

Have a good week y'alls! Hope you see you around...

Babe, I've got you babe...

The soft quiet breeze welcomes itself through the open window. I'm sitting still, watching the sunset sky. Just praying, reflecting, waiting...such a moment that I will soon not forget. Feelings, nothing more than feelings. No matter where I am, what I do, how I feel, and what the current situation may be; He is Lord. And through this truth, I can find peace, comfort, and joy wherever I go...

Just as this realization hits, my beautiful boy Simba comes into my room, rubs his adorable kitty face in my hair and purrs. Summertime is sweet.

It was a normal day at church yesterday, after Sunday school...I had a craving for good ol' Spicy Beef Cuisine. It's an awesome little Szechaun restaurant that my family and friends have loved going to for years. I can sit here drooling just thinking about their hot and sour soup, wor teep (dumplings), stir-fried 'leen-go', sticky glutenous rice, 'dam-dam' noodles, authentic desserts etc.

I excitedly left Sunday school to round up ppl to come with me, only to be utterly shocked and mortified that it closed down like 7 weeks ago! NOoooo....I never got to eat there one last time....I'm soo sad...there's no closure... :o( I'll never eat at a place quite like it. Rumour says they moved elsewhere...I really hope so, but why wouldn't they tell us loyal customers where they're headed to? Another favourite Thai place of mine in Markham that serves the most tantalizing 'tom yum' noodle soup also closed down this spring. *sniff* Why do bad things happen to good people? lol...don't mind my rant.
